Rs. 8.00 lakhs coverage. If you claim medical expenses of Rs. 5.00 lakhs in a policy year, an additional sum insured of Rs. 3.00 lakhs is reloaded automatically. The coverage for the policy year will be Rs. 11.00 lakhs in this case and not Rs. 16.00 lakhs, unlike in complete restoration. The advantage is you need not use up Rs. 8.00 lakhs to avail yourself of the restoration facility.
