1 How do I change my address?

To update the registered address please login to My Account

  • To login, enter your registered mobile number / email ID / Policy ID / Client ID along with the Date of Birth.
  • Click on Proceed and check the email ID & Mobile Number and click on Send OTP.
  • Enter OTP & CAPTCHA and click on Login
  • On successful logging in, click on 'My Account' button
  • Click on Contact Details
  • Click on edit icon for change in Mailing Address / Permanent Address

OR

Submit the Policy Servicing Request Form at any HDFC Life branch, OR

Email us at [email protected] along with a self-attested photocopy of your new address proof

2 How do I update my contact details?

To update the contact details/email id please login to My Account

  • To login, enter your registered mobile number / email ID / Policy ID / Client ID along with the Date of Birth.
  • Click on Proceed and check the email ID & Mobile Number and click on Send OTP.
  • Enter OTP & CAPTCHA and click on Login
  • On successful logging in, click on 'My Account' button
  • Click on Contact Details
  • Click on communication details (edit icon) to change email id/ mobile number

OR

You can update contact detail/email id through our official WhatsApp bot Etty or Website bot Elle.

To update contact detail/email id via WhatsApp bot Etty simply send ‘Hi’ on +91 8291890569

1 How do I update my PAN details?

To update PAN details please login to My Account

  • To login, enter your registered mobile number / email ID / Policy ID / Client ID along with the Date of Birth.
  • Click on Proceed and check the email ID & Mobile Number and click on Send OTP.
  • Enter OTP & CAPTCHA and click on Login
  • On successful logging in, click on 'My Account' button
  • Click on Personal Details
  • Click on PAN (edit icon) 

OR

You can update PAN number through our official WhatsApp bot Etty or Website bot Elle.

1 How do I update my Bank/NEFT details?

To update bank details please login to My Account

  • To login, enter your registered mobile number / email ID / Policy ID / Client ID along with the Date of Birth.
  • Click on Proceed and check the email ID & Mobile Number and click on Send OTP.
  • Enter OTP & CAPTCHA and click on Login
  • On successful logging in, click on 'My Account' button
  • Click on Bank Details
  • Click on edit icon to add or edit NEFT details

1 Can I request for a Change in Name?

For correction or rectification in the name, please submit the Policy Servicing Request Form along with a copy of your Identity Proof and the Original Policy Document at any HDFC Life branch. Forms are available under Quick Link section, visit Forms & Downloads.

You can also update the same by logging into My Account

2 Can I request for Change in Date of Birth?

For correction or rectification in the date of birth*, please submit the Policy Servicing Request Form along with a copy of your Age Proof at any HDFC Life branch. Forms are available under Quick Link section, visit Forms & Downloads.

NRI Customers: Please write to us at [email protected]

*According to the Proposal Form and Age Proof provided at the time of availing the proposal, the proposal is converted and date of birth is updated in our records.
