There is no way anyone can prepare for the death of a loved one, but there are ways to cherish the memories they leave behind.
A project that honours the ones you've lost, and their memories. The Memory Project is a step towards asking people to share the memories of their loved ones with everyone and lead them to a road of coping and cherishing those memories for a lifetime.
Stepping into the 4th Edition of The Memory Project, the project is a tribute to the ones we've lost, an archive for all their happy memories and a moment of cherishing their love!
This year the project focuses on the message of:
"Highlighting the importance of slowing down and taking the time to gather our thoughts and memories,
to truly cherish those we love and lost."
We can cherish the memory of our loved ones only by making the time and room to gather our moments with them, the lessons they imparted and the love they showed us. Without documentation, the memories will fade away sooner than expected.
The 4th edition of the Memory Project is all about documentation and how that helps one to cope with grief and other emotions later. With this edition we intend to capture memories today that you can look back at and learn from, tomorrow.
We have also created a series of How-Tos in this edition of TMP and, since the participants are talking about stories from their past that the community in the present and future can benefit from.
This edition with its forthcoming content, will make us truly cherish the moments we have with our loved ones and relish those whom we have lost.
Your safe haven to celebrate your loved one
What was the strangest gift you received from them? How would they approach a dilemma? How was their special way of wishing you Happy Birthday? If there life could be summarized in one haiku, how would it go? How did they set an example for the world? What advice was your loved one famous for? How would they have described you? What their greatest strength? If they were an influencer, what would they be famous for? What the happiest project the two of you undertook? How did your relationship with them change over time? How do you think they would have wanted you to stay motivated? What's your favorite memory of them? If their lifestory were turned into a biopic, how would the synopsis go? How did they broach topics like financial advice?
