    What is the Jigyasa Management Training program?

    It is a 12-month management training program from HDFC Life. We handpick the best and the brightest from B-schools around the country to come grow with us. We mould these high- potential campus recruits to our vision, values and culture and create a talent pool of homegrown mid-level managers poised to take up bigger leadership roles. In this program, you will learn about the BFSI Industry, fundamentals of finance and financial markets, Life Insurance and its core functions, distribution management and how to develop effective sales capabilities.

    Who is eligible for this program?

    The minimum requirement is an post graduate degree. Students in their final year of college who are yet to obtain their degree may not apply. At the time of enrolling, you will be expected to produce your official transcripts and degree certificate.

    What is the selection process?

    Our team of senior professionals visit various B-schools across the country to handpick the best and brightest students. There are three stages to the selection process:


    Step 1:You will be shortlisted by HDFC Life based on your qualifications, interest and potential. Communication and presentation skills count a lot.

    Step 2: An online cognitive ability and online communication assessment will be administered This test will be virtually proctored through video-taping. If you clear this stage, then you will advance to step 3.

    Step 3: Interview at HDFC Life to get to know you better as well as determine if you’re the right fit.

    This will conclude in your being selected or rejected.

    Will I have to complete a project as part of the program?

    No, you do not have to submit an academic dissertation. However, there are challenging classroom assignments and continuous assessments. Our inductees receive on-the-job training and several opportunities to explore real-world business challenges.

    Where will on-the-job training be conducted? Will I be charged for it?

    OJT will be conducted at an HDFC Life branch or partner office closest to you. The location will be assigned to you after you join the program.

    Who issues my employment letter?

    When joining us, HDFC Life will provide you a provisional offer letter that stands confirmed after you complete 12 months. The offer letter clearly mentions the terms and conditions of employment, including applicable statutory and tax deductions.
