Steps to become FC

  • Step 1
    Fill an application
    Sign up online.
    Fill the form now.
  • Step 2
    Submit Documents

    List of documents you need to submit for registration and verification:
    Age proof, Address proof, Education proof, PAN card, Passport-size color photograph, Aadhaar card, Cancel Cheque Copy

  • Step 3
    Training and Certification
    Undergo a IRDAI Mandatory training program followed by an exam to qualify as a Certified Life Insurance Partner.
  • Step 4
    Appointment

    You will now receive an Appointment Letter from HDFC Life and will be authorised to sell HDFC Life Insurance policies.

Can the license be on one person’s name whereas selling is being done by someone else (related)?

The person who has license can only procure insurance business however he can take family support only for business establishment

An agent already has a license, how can he become a part of our program?

If the agent has a Life Insurance license and is not selling/registered with other life insurance company, he can enroll with us.

Am I required to visit your branches/office ?

As a DigiFC, you will be connected with us digitally through a dedicated Relationship Manager. Your interactions will be via a toll free number and email. You can occasionally join us virtually for training and development sessions. We value your time, and will not ask you to visit our offices.
